Tuition & Fees

 

As an independent school, The Raleigh School is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. The money needed to operate its programs comes from tuition, fees, contributions, and fundraising. Tuition and fees are approved by the membership at the annual meeting in the spring.

Application Fee

A $90 application fee is due with each application for enrollment or re-enrollment. The application fee is nonrefundable.

Facility Fee

Upon notification that a child has been accepted into a class at the preschool, a nonrefundable facility fee equal to one month’s tuition is due. This fee must be paid by the stated due date (usually about two weeks after notification) to hold the child’s position for the upcoming school year. The facility fee is used solely for facility replacement and/or major maintenance.

Advance Tuition Deposit

The Raleigh School requires an advance deposit on tuition for the last month of classes for the upcoming school year. The tuition deposit is payable early in May of the current year and is nonrefundable.

Tuition

Preschool tuition is due on the first of the month beginning in September. The amounts vary according to the length and frequency of the class. We do not offer sibling discounts on tuition. Limited need-based financial aid is available – please see the Financial Aid page for more information.
